Do you really, really, believe Newman Haas' claim that last year more than 46,000 recruits enlisted because of Nascar sponsorship? I don't.
In light of todays economy the money could be better spent.
Perhaps by loaning the military families that are having their homes forclosed upon a few bucks to save them.

I'm sorry, were you or your spouse deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan or Kuwait Are you on a list to possibly be deployed again within the next year or two? How many months were you in a tent last year dodging bullets? How many times did you get the blood of your brother in arms on your hands?
Last time I checked, it was still only 1% pay raise a year.
Are you serious?Where did you find YOUR recruiting figures to refute their claim?
Is there anyone on this forum that can explain how to reason with Moon? For crying out loud, even being respectful doesn't work. How open minded of you.

First, let's debunk one of your statements, Moon, that Newman Haas is claiming 46,000 new recruits as a direct result of US Army sponsorship involvement in NASCAR racing. Here's what he actually said, spin man...
"Last year alone, the U.S. Army's motorsports programs generated more than 46,000 qualified [recruiting] leads."
Your turn.
No. What it is about is using tax payer dollars to subsidize millionares racing operations. They have the money to spend on this, they would just rather use government money for it.
There are private industry sponsors out there.

So you are cool with subsidizing failures?Oh yeah, I forgot about all the private industry sponsors on the waiting list to sponsor a team.....
