Before the JRs came along, he built a lot of killer Comp cars, including the A/ED of John Lingenfelter. Visited his shop in Buffalo, NY in the mid ‘80s. RIP Mike

Nice guy, met him several times camping at his property in Bristol. His home was built on top of a knob there and had wonderful view. RIP

That's too bad.

I think my favorite cars he built were the extended altered's for the IHRA original top dragster class. They were bad ass.
