Major JFR announcement at PRI show Friday, December 12th.

The video I saw of John at the PIR show. He stated he was with his current sponsors to the end of the year.
I'm guessing that within a few days of 2015. All his announcements will be heard.

I really don't get a lot of the posts here. The guy has been working his ass off for over a year and a half to replace millions in lost revenue and to keep his teams together and on the track, and people are complaining that he hasn't come out with announcements fast enough?

Nunzio, point well taken, but I think the major kick (at least with me) is he keeps saying in interviews that there will be big announcements at SEMA, PRI, etc and they never materialize. I think it would be better not to say announcements are coming than allude to big announcements forthcoming and have them not materialize.

I thought the OP was supposed to be as good as having it come from John's lips .... I think there is an element of punishment to this never ending saga.

That said, even WFO Joe called Robert H. out on his show when they claimed to have not telegraphed such an announcement .... Joe said "don't claim they didn't say it" and to listen to Robert's interview in the archives.

Hope something works out, we need them out there. Sure hate to see Lucas having to pitch in to help .... he's usually only a "save the day" guy.

The announcement is held up in LA legal land. John won't listen to anyone else.

PS: A MAJOR PLAYER has resigned from the Force team over this.

My understanding he has only one remaining member of his crew from last year. His team is crumbling and so far he's unable to stop it. In my opinion if John doesn't get this done and announced by the first week in Jan he's going to lose so much credibility not many will care and current sponsors will start questioning why they are associated with him.

Who on here actually believes John's in trouble? How many times does he have to prove himself to be the true champion he is.
That being said, Look for JFR to be stronger than ever. Maybe not right away but by Indy they'll be ready.

That's it, John has nothing to prove, he is and always will be a champion. Now, these cars don't run on legacy, they run on green paper with mostly dead presidents on them and that's where he is struggling. We need more $ in the sport, not less. John had a sweet deal with Ford and Castrol and word is his new deals are for a lot less than what he was getting before. I wish that team well as the sport is no fun when 1 team dominates and has no true competition (like JFR, they stunk up the FC show through the 90's and early 2000's).
