Lee is right on the money about "the show" as well as many other things. Night racing, particularly in the hottest months should be the norm. If the finals were run on Saturday, Sunday could really be a day of rest for the crews, a chance to get traveling to the next venue, or a "rain day" which might preclude the 6 week back to back saga we saw this year.
Of course, many of the national event venues could use a major overhaul.
I have a suggestion for the teams, as well. Those intricate - and, often, bizarre - paint schemes don't always show up well on TV.
