I think Alexis needs a Practice tree....

no doubt about it. tommy D and the team must be a little frustrated. they have given her a great car and she has been slowwww off the line alot. judging by her race interviews she seems to be a serious person with a desire to win. hope she gets it together

Something else I've seem to notice about her is that it sure seems that she drives the car awfully deep. Looked pretty normal in the semi's, but the round before than, as well as a couple of races ago it almost looked like she drove the car damn near to 1320. Don't know why I noticed it, but.......

I have noticed that from the onboard cameras a couple of times.

Well while your doing one for her, why don't you set one up for half the field bc they all were crappy yesterday. Hell Densham made the final and his best light was a .148!

I agree Justin, it seemed like many of them were off yesterday. Wasn't sure if there was a sun issue on the lights or what.

The National Dragster has the "Stats Plus" column. One listing is the percentage of times that a driver left on their opponent. It would be interesting to see a season long record on her reaction times.
The trouble is, due to the Robslob retirement cutbacks, I didn't renew my membership for 2014 (R.O.I.)

Densham was having knee replacement surgery today on the "throttle" knee, and he's been racing for..... 41 years I think is what they said, that puts him well in to his 60's and that was his, 3rd or 4th event this year? I know Force is too, BUT ----- I think Gary and Company did pretty damn great for very few self funded races each year over the last several years compared to the deeply funded teams that test and run the complete schedule with so many more laps under their belt consistently each year...... So happy for Team Densham and hope he has a speedy recovery!!!

The sun is very intense in Seattle and any time beyond the mid/late afternoon and you are fighting extreme glare as the sun shines from down track through the windshield reflecting into the dash and cockpit making it difficult to see. Especially in a funny car. Not making excuses for her, but the glare can be brutal. If your eyes aren't perfect or the windshield or visor didn't get cleaned in can be difficult to see.

The only time I ever hit something when I used to drive TA/FC (the wall at 1/2 track) was an afternoon session in July at Sonoma almost 20 years ago when the sun was down track shining right through the windshield. They actually had a guy standing behind the tree holding up a sheet of plywood so Bucky and I could see the stage bulbs. Not too smart. After that they started calling a dinner break to give the sun time to move on.
