Happy Birthday In-N-Out Burger (1 Viewer)

If you love In-N-Out, if you're ever in the San Diego area you must try Nessy Burger, 15 freeway and Highway 76 in north San Diego County. A small hole in the wall in the parking lot of a Arco station with killer burgers.

How long has that place been there Mike? That's right near Fallbrook right? The Pala exit?

When I do the fireworks for the Storm Baseball stadium in Lake Elsinore, I have to take Hwy 76 home since Ortega highway has been closed down for repairs every night and I've passed that place many times. I had a feeling that it has good burgers just by the hole in the wall vibe it gives off. Since I am passing thru there around midnight they are closed, but I'll have to make a trip out there during the day and try one when they are open.

Tim, the Pala turn off is where its at. I would say its been there I'm pretty sure about 30 years. Nessy Burger is mostly a lunch type place. Not sure what time they close.

Mike, my sister works at the storm stadium during baseball season.

Tim, next time you go to Pala keep on driving east to Casino Pauma. Win a lot more and not as packed:D

I've been loving them, from back at Irwindale Raceway, many many years ago. We've got 2 here in Reno now. Great grub and great memories too.:D

I had a Double Double Animal Style last week in San Diego:D

anybody know of one farther north then Redding? We're headed down to vegas the week after the national event, for a divisional race, then over to pomona for a wednesday exhibition and to watch the finals. I figure on that trip, and headed back north after the finals, I can have, oh..say..20 double doubles..maybe more.

There is one on highway 80 in Vacaville across from where the Nuttree used to be. Don't know if there are any further north of that.

I know there used to be one in Redding and one a bit farther south in chico. Those were the farthest northern ones I know of. Still a little far for a dinner drive.

Wonder if they'd send one of their 'cook out trailers' up towards seattle? They say they go almost anywhere...:p

Steve Evans was a In-N-Out man. Used to see him once in a while when we were close to one while at a track gorging. God rest Steve and God Bless In-N-Out.

I had to run out for parts one day while rebuilding after a little chernobel and happened upon an oasis. So I stopped and picked up a few boxes full for the masses. I also ordered a special double double lunch for Steve as he was doing a story on our little disaster. Provided him with the obligatory chocolate headache shake as well. Made a great man smile for 10 minutes and always pestering "hey you going out for food soon?"

Doubles are for young frail women and children. 3X3 minimum. But I'll take a 4X4 animal, fries double animal and one large chocolate headache in a box to go please!
