While Phoenix doesn't have the stands Pomona has, they always get great crowds....

Joe - we sat at 1/8 mile (pit side) about 2/3 of the way up Friday and Sunday. Plenty of room both days. One deep along part of the rail on Sunday. I've seen many of the events here where it was elbow to eyeball in the stands and 5 deep along the rail. Good crowd, yes - great crowd, no.

Those spots, apparent in the sky portions of the shot, are dust/dirt/stuff on your sensor.
