Fs1 u suck

They have enough time on Sunday to do exactly that. Just cut back on the foo-foo. I can recall a few years back they did a lot of tech discussions on the workings of Pro Stock, in-depth interviews and driver exposes and a lot more in-car filming than they do today. Another thing missing this weekend - clips of all the final sportsman rounds. Didn't see any of that. And don't get me started on the audio which in my opinion is only a step or two above what you get with a cell phone.

On the other hand I suppose we should be grateful there's at least someone out there covering our sport. FS1 could cull NHRA drag racing at any time only to be replaced by Japanese little-league baseball or competition curling so there's that, too.

Carl, glad you mentioned the audio! I am afraid to bring this up on the site, with so many here being perfectly happy with it, and any mention of it brings up unfair accusations of being a “complainer”.
I can only imagine how fantastic Fox and .TV would be if they had quality audio instead of the uninspired mess we put up with every event

Like Antron and Hagen working out at the gym or Brittany Forces cats, Kalitta flying private jets and 747's, what Capps eats for breakfast, a handful of fuel drivers doing a wine tasting contest in Sonoma. It goes on and on with this stupid crap. And ABSOLUTELY quit showing the same damn replays of first and second round prior to the semi's when we've already watched them.

I gave in a couple years ago and pay for NHRA.tv myself. My biggest gripe is that when there is a delay, they will pop up a little bar saying “Top Fuel back on track at 1:30pm ET.

That isn’t helpful when you watch the event the day after and it’s a completely different time. They need to add a current time stamp when those pop up. That way we can see. Oh it’s 11:30 in video time and they are coming back in 2 hours, scrub up 2 hours.

Better yet, a click to resume button would be awesome that you click on replay and the recording junos to when racing resumed.

So one example is Kalitta Air and MAC Tools, the only tool truck allowed at Kalitta Air is MAC Tools supplying all the mechanics in return MAC sponsors Kalitta.
Maybe a wash?? if not greatly offset.
Kalitta Air and DHL more than likely help each other out with shipping.
It is not a bad thing just greatly benefits both companies.

Now John Force and Peak, John doesn't supply a "product" and Peak foots the whole bill.

I started going to the drags in 1968 (8 years old) what tv coverage, in the early 70s you had to wait until
March or April to watch the Winternationals. It got better as the decade went on and by the early 80s it
definitely got better with the TNN Network and ESPN. Never have watched a FS1 broadcast, ever.
The way some of you bitch about FS1, I'm not missing anything. I cut the cable 7 or 8 years ago, got Roku.

Give NHRA.TV a chance. 99% sure you will keep it! And please don't reply and f-in bitch about the sound
and the annoucers.

Jim, your almost as old as I am. I remember those "good old days". I used to watch Fox before I discovered Nhra.Tv, can't stand to listen to T. Pedregon. The current announcing crew is pretty good and as far as the sound goes I can't tell the difference. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please everyone all the time!

The only way you could get same day coverage years ago was to dial up the Castrol GTX Pipeline for $1.99 per minute and listen to Dave McClellend give a recap by pressing 1 for Top fuel, 2 for funny car, 3 for....

I'm not paying much attention any more. Is Tony Pedregon out?

I agree with you 100%. I too have had NHRA.tv since day one, and I don’t watch the Fox broadcasts. In fact, I couldn’t be paid to watch it.

Looks like you are a few years older than me, but I too have been attending since the late 60’s. As you can see by my pic of me sitting with The Greek, that is my avatar. My Mom dated Kansas John Wiebe, so I got to go to a lot of races and hang out with a lot of legends, when I was a kid. In fact, crazy story my Mom and I were just talking about the other day. Richard Tharp once offered to buy me from her! Of course he was joking. I think. 😂 It was when he was driving for Bob Creitz. I was treated so good by all those guys. Memories I will cherish forever.

Fantastic memories Vaughn. I too have great memories of my older sister who is 76 years old now, who took me to
my first drag race in1968 and to racers who were so nice (it was just different back then) and all the friendships
I made over the years. Great Tharp story...LOL Oh, and the great memories I can't talk about.
