Carl, glad you mentioned the audio! I am afraid to bring this up on the site, with so many here being perfectly happy with it, and any mention of it brings up unfair accusations of being a “complainer”.
I can only imagine how fantastic Fox and .TV would be if they had quality audio instead of the uninspired mess we put up with every event
I bring the sound issue up over on the NHRA.tv thread all the time. Sound is better this year, but it’s a paper bag-like crackle to the nitro cars, instead of a true thump that you should get with decent speakers. Better than last year, when you could barely hear the cars over all the announcers yammering all the time. I know the limitations, but it could be way better.

That being said, I don’t mess around with Fox, FS1, anything else. I only watch NHRA.tv. All the complaining aside, I don’t know what I would do without it.

NHRA tv for years. It’s getting better all the time. Still need a few tuneups like:
Sometimes stops and makes you go back to live while watching earlier content.
Hard to find the event hours after it ended.
Please time stamp the screen. For delays that say estimated restart time, you just have to keep hunting.

Can’t deal with FS1 and their schedule.

IMO the current crew nhra has assembled is very good. each announcer has their own style.
in j. galvin, i hear the same wit we have been accustomed to, first by bob frey, and then alan reinhart.
it's always a work in progress, and he's a super comp racer, as joe castello is in super street.
in a perfect world, there are some weekends amanda does not attend, would love to see her replaced on those weekends, or even
added reporting by jamie howe, who nhra (or fox) used to employ. courtney enders also gets my vote.

what did angelle sampey ask spencer hyde?

She made the remark that Blake has had a tough start to the season. He was pissed and said that they won a round last week. Compared to last year he has struggled but being on a new team I think that was expected. I think he was just defending his team which is what he should do.

It was probably a wrong question to ask from Angelle; but probably one that has been asked plenty times before to; John Force, Tony Schumacher, Ron Capps, etc. They just took it and answered it in a much better way.

It was kinda painful watching Blake Alexander pace around at the top end waiting to see if Tasca was going to bump him out. He avoided Angelle and then Bruno interviewed him after Tasca ran. Looks like he just learned the difference between owning your own team and being a hired driver!
