Of course it's huge news, but to me the real shame is going to be when the mainstream (and racing) media devotes their front pages to people who didn't do well.
There are some really deserving racers who should be in the spotlight for once, but I fear we're not going to hear much about them.

I know it's confusing, but here it goes...According to the photo on NHRA.com, John is running Eric's colors.
I know it sounds confusing, but it's really not...
NHRA has a major problem with qualifying and it needs fixed. I am sick and tired of this one shot session to get in especially when in the others you are the quickest of the session but still cant get in. Personally I think the only way to fix it is to have 2 night sessions.
They do get 2 night sessions in Indy (Friday and Saturday) So John not getting in has nothing to do with there only being one session.
