This one bummed me out... If anyone knows this location and can confirm this, is the rectangular housing development in the middle of the map the location of the old New York National Speedway (UHRA track from the 60's-70's)?

When I was young, I used to pass by that track many times on the way to the big city of Houston (from my home in Texas City), but my father would never take us there. I'm surprised that it still shows from the air. Was its called Houston International Raceway? My mind does not remember much after 45 to 50 years or so!

I would also like to say thanks for that one, spent a lot of time there. Saw jet car vs semi truck race, and lets not forget 64 FUNNY CARS! Great fun at OCIR
