Watching cnbc this a.m. and there's been a continuing segment about
Moffett Naval Air Station @ Mountain View, Ca. and how it's been used recently only as Private Aircraft Parking for the dudes that own Google.
This story goes something like this.... NASA (who runs the place) needs an influx of new cash to keep it open.
So I suggest that NHRA get on the ball and start some sort of weekend / sportsman program there a.s.a.p.
It could be a reincarnation of Half Moon Bay or Fremont.
Anybody from this area that has thought of this before, please chime in.
