Darrell, same system however who maintains and how often make the difference

Bigger yet was the car in NHRA trim?? they are all touting Brittanys run to the 1/8 mile BUT the canards in front of the rear wheels were removed. NOT in NHRA trim. They were testing for a future rule change.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but it makes sense to test for a future rule change. How does it make sense to test in non-NHRA approved trim??

run a little faster and get into everyone else's head...........like all the media saying Brittany went the fastest ever to the 1/8th

aren't the rear canards optional? there are rules for the front and rear spoilers, and i think a max. sq. ft. or sq. in. rule for the canards,
but not sure if they are required.

I understand they are required til May ?

will be interesting to see what becomes preference

if i'm running in the nitro classes and someone else runs a killer number - that particular run would not get into my head. If someone ran 10 killer numbers in a row, now that would get into my head, cause that proves it wasnt a fluke and implies they are on to something!

Seeing that Fox and IRL are gonna run their claim down peoples throat for the rest of the season, do we know anyone (Smoke? 😉) with IndyCar connections that a Best-of-Three match race can be arranged between, say, a Top Fuel car and an open-wheel representative of the "fastest cars on earth"? Let's settle this, say around Memorial Day weekend...

It's really such a silly argument. Apples and oranges. The real fastest sport is land speed "racing". I was born a drag racing junkie, but I can appreciate virtually every form of motorsport that exists.
Same, Nunzio...I stand with Tasca on this one though. It's a "chop", in WWE parlance, for IRL to run commercials stating that during an NHRA broadcast. Time for the C-Suite folks over at Glendora (or wherever they post up now) to return the favor and market the difference that 100mph is, with TWO (or four) cars also possessing more overall horsepower than the entire IRL starting grid
