ESPN/NHRA should be commended

It appears there has been a marked increase in sponsor "face time" on the cars during the broadcasts. They seem to be showing the cars with sponsor colors flying on the broadcasts and even went the extra mile with the Copart emplyees attendance at their "home" track given a little air time. It has to be helpful in these times of economic uncertainty to get a little more bang! Good job and keep up the good work!!! :)

I definitely noticed the cameras focusing in on the sponsor names on the cars a lot more than usual. Maybe they finally figured out who's really signing their paychecks over there at NHRA. Duhhh...

Did anyone else notice some mistakes made yesterday during the broadcast? They popped up with the info that Cruz was 12th in Pro Stock points and they also mentioned that TF Dragster, TF Funny car, Top alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny cars would all be required to run carbon fiber brakes front and rear.
None of my dragsters ever had front brakes. I don't think those little tires would do much stopping. :D

also noticed increased side of car sponsor exposure.......
good to see big and small sponsors too

I agree. They have been doing better. I'm seeing and remembering the sponsor logos more now.

I'm quick to criticize how much they fawn over Force and they seem to have scaled that back some also.

That Alexis segment was great.

Good job ESPN2! Keep up the good work!

Oh, well...these little gaffes don't mean much. Like Mike Dunn saying that Hector Arana's car drifted over towards the centerline.

The pizza outfit that sponsored KJ sure got its' money's worth..:)

Good Job indeed.

Now, please keep up the good work for at least one more week.

That James Day guy is racing Funny Car this weekend with a new sponsor to NHRA Drag Racing that could use some good air time... ;)

I liked the highlight of Alexia, maybe focussing on some sportman racer each race would be cool. See the stars of tomorrow today type of deal.
