I dunno the answers either-point is I didn't know it was a stat that was importiant. The "that guy" would have easily got lost in history-till Greg made an issue of it.

It used to be that the internet rule of thumb was that an argument was clearly lost when someone brought up Hitler. I'll update that to say that when someone has nothing of value to say, they bring up politics in a thread that's completely unrelated.

It was an analogy,had nothing to do with politics. Now, I too am done.

Somehow, that picture ends up in cyberspace.
And, you have an overly sensitive driver who doesn't like it, but doesn't have the stones to say anything until a TV camera is around.

Again, not sticking up for Anderson, ... but, I've NEVER seen a winning competitor pose in front of the runner up's transporter with the trophy before. Erica isn't totally innocent in this.

If Greg is going to bring it up on camera then he should have explained it. He lit the fire and and then wouldn't man up. Just like Capps and that Beckman deal a while back. Advantage Enders on this deal.

It took Erica 8 yrs to get that Wally, doesn't Greg think she a reason to have "fun" with it. Greg needs to put this behind him. Erica isn't his archnemesis. A.J. clearly has the performance advantage.

I get that Greg wasn't a fan of the pic but it also wasn't a big deal. She was on the backside of the trailer not in his pits. Someone getting their first win after trying for so long and coming so close is gonna have some fun with it.

Him going on and on about not wanting to be "That Guy" was more disrespectful but neither were over the line.

To wait a month, then to mention it on camera was a punk move. Greg needs to remember his big boy pants next time he races.

His bringing it up then claiming to not want to talk about it is bush league, then he hardly wanted to talk about it with her. Weak, weak, weak.

A better move would have been to go next to her trailer after the next race and pose with his championship trophies.

Talk trash, have fun, don't whine.

It'd be nice to have a little rivalry action, hopefully next time, Greg will take the pacifier out before crying.

I saw that too. People shouldn't have gone to Summit. What Greg did was dumb and weak but no need to go to his sponsor over it.

bottom line- greg never took a pic like that in front of ericas trailer, she was rubbing it in because shes been the spoiled rich kid all her life! her erica.... greg 75 wins 4 time champion, you- 1 win!!!!!!!!!!!!! know your role!!!!! erica is very unproffesional and ill bet my eyeballs many other pro stock racers feel the same way about her as greg does!!!! It would have shades of "Al Hoffman" "RIP" I always liked him.. knew him better than most, and under that "Bad Ass" attitude he wasn't a bad guy !!

I can't think of a single person in the Pro pits who wouldn't think it was a ch!ckensh!t move. Whether they would say anything publicly is another question.

Any pro racer knows how difficult it is to get a win and how easy it is to lose. I don't know of any who would want to "rub in" a victory because they know they'll probably be on the other end of the equation at the next race.

Like I said, I don't know Erica but as far as I'm concerned her sponsor put her in a really bad spot. How are you going to say no?

I've seen black eyes appear for less, but no one ever knows about it other than a few. And no, I'm not suggesting that Greg should have hit Erica, just that lesser actions have caused a racer to express their insistence on mutual respect.

It's fun to root for the good guy (or woman) but it always makes it better with a black hat involved.

Do any of you really believe Al Hoffman was the "tough guy" he portrayed in interviews?

And once again we're back to the question that never gets answered: Why do a lot of people complain about vanilla, corporate-speak racers but can't wait to condemn someone who stirs the pot a bit in the name of fan interest?

Can we have an EE and Mrs Anderson mud wrestling contest ? ESPN 360 could record it .

Its just time for everyone one just to GROW up and get on to the fact of racing. It's about the fans who spend their hard earn money to go see these same professionals battleing out at the starting line. once in a while, thers always some kind of drama at the end of the shut off area...how about a few years ago...John Force & Tony Pedregon.(remember).. At least that was better drama with Force/Tony.

Anderson waiting over a month to mention it, then saying that he doesn't want to talk about it was weak. Especially over a pretty tame picture.

Now it just looks weak and petty. The truth is that he is mad that he lost to a girl and can't let it go. It's a shame since I thought this sport was one of the few that was passed that.

Next win by Erica they should put a team shirt on a dog and have it go hump the tire on Anderson's trailer to show them who's boss. At least then it would be something for him to get riled up over.

I think it's funny that over the last year or so there have been a lot of comments about how today's drivers are too boring and too politically correct when doing interviews. Then Greg makes a comment and a lot of people are all over him. Especially when a lot of people on this board made similar comments when the picture was first posted to this forum.

Sorry to disagree but Greg's attitude will never be like WJ's. He is much more fan friendly than WJ and I doubt we'll ever hear Greg refer to a competitor as a punk. (Dave Connelly.)

I have always found Greg to be a stand up guy who is not afraid to be critical of himself when he has a bad light, etc. I like Erica as well so I'm not a partisan here.
