I just watched a segment on the the news about all the different things the NFL is doing trying to attract more fans to their football games.
Some teams are adding swimming pools to their stadiums and also restaurants where the fans can purchase other types of foods rather then just burgers and hot dogs.
They are trying to figure out how to make it a more memorable event for fans to attend and not just watch on TV.
Sounds to me they have the exact same problems the NHRA are having. How to make their events more memorable for the fans and racers.
Maybe there is something to be learned by watching what the NFL, baseball and other sports and NASCAR are doing to attract fans.
It's just my opinion but drag racing is not alone in the changes we see happening right now.
I also believe the economy is not helping and just watching the stock market each day is enough to scare the hell out of any potential sponsors from investing millions right now.
