I thought Cory was going to run a decent amount of races this year, split between the Tuttle and Dakin cars. Anyone remember how many times he's been out? Seems like 1 or 2

Especially since hiring Massey to drive your car instantly puts you into the Traxxas shootout and the Countdown, Unless he did something really stupid (beyond being drunk at a fan fest), I think we will see him in another car for the rest of the year.

I wonder how much low oil prices have to do with the termination? Spencer's "official" sponsor has to be feeling the pain from the petroleum market. Last time he was let go all was forgiven when the guy from Ft Worth funded the team. Whoever shows up with a checkbook first will get the ride.

According to the press release, Massey was canned over a policy violation-repetition. If the funding had dried up, that means Gene Snow's oil money, Schumacher would have simply disbanded the team. Massey would still be out of a job, but it wouldn't be of his own doing. Schumacher made it perfectly clear this was all on Spencer.

That's all well and good. I don't know Snow but I'm good friends with one of his former crew members, so there ain't a lot about his personal issues I'm not aware of. Not an issue here, however. Massey apparently crapped in his own cook kit; wasn't Snow's fault.

Age, slowing reaction times, lack of money and lack of marketability. The little cutie who's rumored to take Massey's seat has all of those covered.

I hope Cory at least gets to keep a gig with one of the smaller teams; he still has a lot to offer.

Age, really I could make a very long list of those currently races every event that are older than him.That has zero to do with this debate

Slowing reaction times, he finished 3rd in points the last season with DSR so doubt that "got him ousted" as you claim either

Lack of money is an issue with any team and no Cory doesnt have a Gene Snow but I am sure he is thankful for that lol

Marketability, your claim here blows my mind, how is he less marketable than any other driver? What he cant pose naked in SI? Neither can 99 % of the drivers

Clay Millican, LOL really? Clay is a great guy very nice but has not won a single race and very few rounds even in NHRA. You pick him over Cory LMAO not sure how to respond to this kind of logic

The little cutie marketing of NHRA has been nothing but down hill, fans want drivers they know not little cuties

All of this is Just my opinion but I do feel I have a serious point

Cory was kicking ass when he was taken out of the car and I would bet money he kicks ass if put back in it
