For DSR its a underperforming team. Either "The Don" cutting his losses, or someone else is buying themselves a seat in a T/F car. The points stay with the driver.

Would need to make 3 runs if it is an a/fuel racer which has been speculated....they could do it but would have to drive up to chicago or norwalk to do it can't do it at Indy with it being the week of the race

Especially since hiring Massey to drive your car instantly puts you into the Traxxas shootout and the Countdown, Unless he did something really stupid (beyond being drunk at a fan fest), I think we will see him in another car for the rest of the year.

I doubt that little incident would be a deal breaker. I think it would more or less come down to cash. But, it's fun to think about what could happen if all the planets lined up just right.

He was running in 2nd in points majority of the year ansd finished 3rd the year he got booted out of his seat
