......And there it is. It's been publicized before that Corey wants to drive. I believe the prerequisite was laid out by his Grandfather... get a college degree first. I have no clue where that stands; but it's a pretty safe bet that if and when that time comes - he'll be put in a car. Corey has a younger brother too. Doug has 2 kids too - and his son has already been seen behind the wheel of a Jr Dragster and a quarter midget sprint car. I dunno; Maybe his daughter will err on the side of caution and want to be a pilot LOL

Now that is awesome to think about!! Great name in drag racing goes GEN 3.

Well if it can't be me.. Seriously, I think it would be awesome to have a third generation of Kalittas carrying the torch.

I think it's a done deal. Not that it will happen anytime soon; but when you think about it, all the pieces are there. They have all the assets, the financing, the Oberhofer family is more or less Kalitta family, and you've got a dedicated core inner circle, and at least one young person who's already said he wants to drive one day.

They haven't been the same since Tobler left. Doug/Grubby have been showing signs of brilliance since late last year, if they can find the consistency they should be a threat again.

I think this is their year. Multiple cars in the mix. The flops will come alive, and then all four cars will be a serious threat.
