Great news! So does two part time rides equal a full pull?
Charlotte (Four-Wide Nationals), Atlanta, Englishtown, Bristol, Norwalk, Brainerd, St Louis, and maybe Indy for Dakin's team and will run the follow races with Tuttle Charlotte, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Pomona.

Too bad he won't be at Pomona and Phoenix to start the year. Would love to see him run more than the 12 races scheduled.

announcements like this tell me two things....
1) they say 'maybe indy': IMO reinforces that indy is no longer significant to attend or win...it is just one of 24 races that happens
to have historical prestige from another era.
2) the rules (parts) haven't changed so much that smaller team's equipment is obsolete; what they have and what they know they
can race with, with a fairly good shot of qualifying (and i think it's been this way for a few years now?)

Wrong about Indy, IMO. To me, it seems most part time teams, when not sure of how many events they will run, say "maybe Indy" because the majority of racers want to include Indy if they can. Or maybe I feel that way because I still love Indy...

you are spot on with #1, Indy is just one of 24 races.
