Cory Mac Bringing the 92 early 93 Look Back... (1 Viewer)

I've got on of the Mac Attack t-shirts around someplace...wonder if it will still fit

mite be wrong here, but is this the first time a recent big show tf'r has
re-imaged as a previous graphics scheme?
still looks as cool today as it did 20 some years ago.
best of luck to that team this weekend.

Wow, what cool flashback! Looks frickin great!
DSR supporting with resources and crew helping on the car.

The 92 Cory Mac car is my favorite paint scheme of all time!!! I used to draw all my fantasy dragsters with the slanted checker-board graphics.

For those (like me) who don't remember this paint scheme..

NO,

Kalitta ran Darrell Gwynn's famed Coors Extra Gold Special Top Fuel dragster colors @ Gainsville in 2010

I'll never forget a divisional race I went to in the 80's at Woodburn, Or.

We were arriving at the track for the day and got out of the car to the sound of a Fuel car!? We ran up to the stands (a short run from parking at Woodburn) to see the brand new Cory Mac team testing before making their national event fuel debut in a sweet new Hadman car. It was one of the first Hadman TF cars (Earl Whiting had the first one). I'm pretty sure Wayne Dupuy was his crew chief then.

It was painted up in those colors. I love that look. What a bonus to see those 1/2 track passes and a full pull at a divisional from a new team.
