so a sellout at epping is 12,000?.....i am asking seriously. is that a capacity crowd at epping?.....never been able to figure out
why it's such a big secret what attendance is at the races?....didn't used to be. the digger would publish the number frequently.
(i don't get it anymore, but i'm guessing they are not publishing attendance)

I think even when NHRA did announce attendance I was skeptical. One thing for sure, a 12,000 capacity race track sure looks better on TV with 12,000 people in it then a 40,000 capacity track with 12,000 people in it.

Correct Eugene, but let's remember Epping stands are rather small compared to Gainesville, Norwalk or Joliet! Who knows maybe they could fill those places too?
I hardly ever pay any attention to the stands. There are already enough people on here that do that. I can tell if it is a good crowd by how crowded the pits are and the long traffic lines and the long ticket lines.

I'd say parking is their biggest problem, we had preferred parking, but at 10:45AM Sunday morning all available parking was used up.

I saw they had a bus shuttle again this year, but not sure from where since they didn't use the parking lot at the oval track nearby.
