Etc. Etc.Etc. In no Particular order, all the best in the business. You know, they guys who do it Normaly aspirated with suspension no electronic clutches with a driver that has to let out a clutch pedal and shift the car 4 times
Its hard not to pick Austin Coil, the man is a legend.
My second would be Alan Johnson. I know he is struggling right now, but when he gets it all figured out, look out.
Zippy, Medlen, Prock, Kalittas, Federly, Beard, Ace there all good.
But I think Coil and Johnson are out front by miles especially if you do career.
For all they`ve accomplished in their careers (i.e. Championships), I`d put Coil and AJ at the top of the list. Everybody else is playing catchup. Lots of other great crew chiefs out there though...Richards, LaHaie (retired or not), Fedderly, Medlen, Beard, Ace, Tobler, Connie, Cerny, but I think those two are the ones everybodys measured against. Prock and Neff are the two to watch out for.
Wow, so many good names here, and so many still not listed! Makes me wonder what defines "best"? Most wins? Most Championships? Least amount of breakage? The most solid runs down slippery lanes? The most records smashed?
Let's not forget Greg Anderson, Linda Camminito and Maynard Yingst!!!!
