Austin Prock interview regarding his Q4 run (2 Viewers)

They got it handed to them. They were NOT ready. Thousands of runs and still looked like the leakers of old. Tell me Jimmy Prock wasn't pissed. This was a national humiliation. The Two time Champ couldn't qualify. There is NO EXCUSE. Unprepared.

I’m surprised that the Tasca’s didn’t make an extra effort for the team to be present and engaged Sunday to smooth over their on and off track performance of Saturday. Austen signing autographs, shaking hands, announcing during FC, etc. They have a significant hospitality set up don’t they ? What did they do, just cancel all their Sunday guests ?
This is in true Tasca form. When they run great it is all good. But when they don't, well we have all heard his interviews.
Prock sounded like Tasca. Force taught him better than to do an interview like this. Think of how this reflects on your sponsors.
And then to leave and not be there on Sunday to talk to fans!!!! Unacceptable.

I have to agree with them hanging around on Sunday. As for Tasca's decision for all the big hold off for the Prock announcement with Ford. I'd say he just dumped a lot of water on that fire. I'd laugh if Ford says forget the help we are giving you.
I never cared for Bob. And he's sure not helping things.

I was wondering who was yelling the loudest BT2, BT3, Jimmy or Austin. At least Austin didn't punch/dent the tow vehicle like he did the JFR one. Tascas and Procks are a good match as neither are mature enough to be level headed. Maybe FORD should send them all to a coach/therapist for lessons on anger management and to learn how to speak/act in public.

To quote that immortal drag racing critic William Shakespeare me thinks this is much ado about nothing. Anyone who thinks ths team/car will not be running inthe top five in five or six races is severely underestimating the talent and determination of the people involved in this operation. Fun to talk about though.

Look around at any motorsport and any team, it takes the driver, car and team. IMO they are not going to have the same parts and that is going to be the difference here. Did Josh wake up as superman this year ? no. Josh is a very good driver and now has the pieces and parts to bring him to the top. There is a reason some teams can put a good driver in and win.
JFR has many drivers that have been very successful because of JFR's program and resources.
BT3 doesn't seem to be a patient and and based on the DNQ and pulling out Saturday nite they are not happy. BT3 I am sure spent a chunk of change to get the Prock's and he wants results now.

BT3 was top five in points for last 5 years or so. last year falling off to #10. after gainesville, he must
feel like he is cursed. i wonder if they have been able to or did test before AZ?

I'm wondering if they discovered a problem in FL and wasn't able to overcome it. To me that's the only reason I wouldn't have been to the Monday Nationals.
Regardless no excuse for not being present on Sunday.

was there testing allowed at gainesville on monday following the race? i don't think there was

Didn't they have the baby Gators following the national event. Which is backwards from the norm I thought. Could be wrong on both counts.
yes, the baby's followed the nats., which was reverse of usual. pretty sure hawley school of drag racing used track just after nationals,
but not sure which days. many sportsman racers moved their rigs to the pro pit area as soon as the pros left,
again not sure exactly what day that took place.
