Let his wife? Aren't those days behind us now?

I would think the power house is her favor and he's the one talented enough to earn and keep his job (yes I edited :).......My guess is, she's enjoying less pressure and being a mom, it's more of how she was "REALLY" Raised. You can drive a race car for years, you only have a few years to lay good values for children, especially when they are young......so good on her for deciding to take a little more time off to stay with her biggest prize package.

Nancy, Perfectly Stated! :)

I dont know Ashley's husband, but I have met crew members who have done Heads/Borrom end for years, that have NO desire to be crewchief! Too much pressure!

You may be right Nancy, but I can see how some Husbands would think twice about seeing their wives' go 300 MPH after having their first child! Who knows...

Okay, so let's do roll reversal: don't you think that wives have had the same "thought" for their husbands after they have their first child or multiple children? Especially in the old Cliche world of "The Man is The Provider" so, does that mean they can control their spouse and tell them they can't do what they are passionate about and or how they are to live their life?

It's not surprising at all (at least to me) that she is Choosing to stay with her child, who knows there may even be another one in the plans pretty soon. :)

Kurt, I'll bet you don't have the stones to call Danny a "Lucky SOB" to his face.

He is a lucky s.o.b! I'll readily admit i'm one jealous sum*****!:)

Not to say he has'nt worked to get where he is by any means, but some people have all the "luck".

Dan is a lucky dude, but not as lucky as I am... Why the heck Kat ever married me, I'll never understand. We have three great kids, four living grandchildren...

I've watched Danny at the track, professionally, he seems to have it 'all in one bag'. She's seems to enjoy running the 'Show Business' department side of JFR.

Oh, by the way, She's Mrs Force-Hood.... he's not Mr. Hood-Force.

But I think 'the bottom line' is, what the frig difference does it make? Two kids fall in love, get married, start a family...

'It doesn't get any better than this'

They own a house near me and used to visit a local watering hole on occasion. Everybody knows who they are but leave them alone so they can enjoy themselves.
