I'm not familiar with this rig. Was it diesel powered? (Those big stacks don't look like something a gas or nitro burning engine would use.) Those big slicks sticking out of the wells look odd too. Must have been a solid rear suspension with no travel, or else I'd think the slicks would get cut down the first time the axle moves. It has the same sponsors John had during that era.

I don't think I've ever seen a wheeliestander snap the front end up so quickly. Usually it's fairly gentle and the nose rises pretty smoothly, this thing looked wicked.

Louie is a GREAT guy and Marshall is so correct about the stories, and if a big rig slams on the brakes if you have a old JFR shirt on and the driver jumps out and looks like a Force it's Louie and you better hold on.
Yeah Mark, this is good ol "DIESEL"!!!!! Louie Force was one of the most entertaining wheelstanders out there! I really couldn't pick a favorite between him and Joe Douthwit's "Smokey Red".
Oh, and in the video, I think that is JOHN towing the Truck. You can see his Funny Car in the staging lanes right behind the truck...Or maybe that's Pat Austin's Funny Car??
