If someone lost their life at the track I dont believe they will let races continue until the police finish their investgation.
that's why NHRA sucks![]()
You're correct Mike... As shown most recently after Scott, the incident becomes a crime scene, and the racing ends for the day.
The womans life DID NOT come to an end at the racetrack, as has been rumored
It probably depends on the individual state. The law in New Jersey requires their state police to investigate all wrecks involving fatalities.
I'm not sure about Arizona.
JIM HEAD: WALLY WANTED 660 RACINGGood post Randy, its a shame anytime a life gets taken NHRA is automatically at fault! If Tire tethers are practical I'm sure NHRA will explore that option. I'm suprised nobodies called for 1/8 mile racing yet?
Why, Gary? Explain.
JMO...They should of stopped the race...A spectator got killed...
It looked like the wheel studs shreared much like the Dan Wikerson incident.
Was it a mounting problem or faulty wheel studs ?
maybe there was as stud failure because the cars make more power than can possibly be contained. I see that as more likely than a crew member did something wrong. the cars make a ridiculous amount of power. please someone out there wake up.
