'88 would have been the gold colored miller TF'r with small airplane wheels out front, and the mid souths would have then been in the fall after indy?
probably just before or after the 2nd topeka race? good recall on the lahaie incident.

what's everyone's thoughts on that tab that broke on ant's strut? holy cow, the slow-mo cam on the wing; the deflection of that strut as it released. wow.
wonder if they will trace that to metal fatigue? or bolt not tight enough? seems to be a part that mite be broken down every time the car is transported?
an incident like this makes you appreciate the titanium shield around the roll cage and/or enclosed canopy.

You're right. I wasn't aware his sentence was commuted by Trump.

Lohnes is like a radio dj,thinks he has to talk till the green light comes on. Nhratv needs graphics and announcerless and id subscribe in a heartbeat
Old time AM, talked into and before end of music. Thank goodness FM came along. Even better now with streaming.

Anyone remember Wolfman jack? I used to listen to him broadcast out of Del Rio, Texas - XERB was the station, but it was in Mexico. He would talk thru the first 20 seconds of whatever song he played and talk again thru the last 30 seconds. Also sell chickens, etc etc. You'd finally get fed up with him and switch to KOMA in Okla City. I was stationed in Roswell, NM from 1964-67, so KOMA was better than the local stations. All AM of course.

XERB......I believe was the source/inspiration for the song "Heard it on the X" by ZZTop.
