I don't believe it either. Justin is not only a hell of a driver but comes across as a warm, enthusiastic and intelligent young businessman. His old man has paid his dues. Time to put the past in the past.

Ashley was not pardoned, his sentence was commuted meaning no 3 year jail sentence for him. He still has to pay $49 million in restitution and had to forfeit $800k.

With the multi-car operations these days, I’m surprised there’s not someone out there driving in both FC and TF on a regular basis. Is that even allowed anymore? Being the driver it makes for a busy Sunday if you would go a couple rounds I guess.

It is not. You can drive in 2 sportsman classes, or 1 pro class and 1 sportsman class, but not 2 pro classes.

don schumacher sure left the sport gracefully. part time deal in 21' i think with partial schedule, then one car deal full time in '22 i think?, now look at it.
if ant is moving to FC, makes you wonder what role wilk mite play moving forward?; and daniel and chad green for that matter too?, just to think out loud.
pretty cool if ant brings son into sport

It was almost explicitly stated that Antron would have a F/C under his wing next season, but Antron did not rise to take the bait in an interview with Fox Finish Line Blondie.

I heard that Maynard wanted to add another funny car. Because of Brown’s racing relation to Justin Ashley, it would make sense he would be the added driver. Now with the rumor of Brown going to a funny car that could be why. Not sure if Antron is expanding his operation but having his son drive would be awesome. Not sure if he is ready for it yet. Sackman would make sense if he is expanding and keeping the dragster. Silly season is starting early.

I expect both Jasmine Salinas and Julie Nataas running Top Fuel next year. Julie could be a candidate to take over the seat in Browns dragster.

Gary Ormsbys wing pretty much did the same thing late 1980-something at the same race but it unloaded the rear and let the car rise up and twist, sliding up the shutdown almost grinding through the cage.
