It was sad to see DJ for the last time on track. I thought it was a nice touch to ask Ned to give the invocation for the event.

Tough luck for Kyle to fall out of the race- he had the car to beat. Gibb's engine guys will be burning the midnight oil to get those Toyota power plants sorted out before next week's 600.

Kyle was in a league of his own before the engine went flat. I loved the way he was egging on the JR fans, the kid has no fear. I was shocked to see the no tire strategy pay off for Kahne. Hopefully the 600 next week will be more kind to Kyle and Denny. I look for Smoke to break through real soon.

You would thought that would have interviewed DJ right after showing him get out of the car. It was nice, IMO, to see any car sponsored by Budwesier win for a change. It's not just the JR fans that despise him.

Does anybody know what went wrong with Gibb's motors? They lost 3 motors over the weekend. Some speculate they were either trying something new or had some extra clearance in the motors.

They were running R&D engines last night. It's a non-points race so all team are testing. They were hoping TS would blow his up too but it didnt happen.

I dont mind seeing Kahne win though I was wishing Biffle would have gotten up there. Busch was in a league of his own for sure before he lost the motor. I was surprised how Kahne's gamble paid off aswell. I figured they would be sitting ducks honestly.

Cheryl......I gotta ask.........who is "they"?

Actually, Tony's did blow up and the team went to a back up in practice. DW said on the telecast that Tony's backup engine didn't have experimental parts in it. Also, the Butterfield guy who was the Gibbs engine tuner, is this the same Butterfield's who were a part of drag racing in the 90's working for Force and Gibbs?

I've heard they were testing new valve train design maybe valve location in heads as well, they had some awesome power for a little while. These were the same motors they used in Bud Shootout.
