All Three Procks leaving JFR (8 Viewers)

Hmmm, so if the Prock family ends up at Tasca, with a 2 car team, Jimmy and Thomas tuning the car Austin drives, who would be tuning Bob’s car? Now we have to wonder what happens when both cars end up racing each other?? Or does Tasca do what Ron Capps did and put Austin in a top fuel dragster with his dad and brother tuning that, it not like Jimmy has never tuned a top fuel dragster, didn’t he tune for Cory Mac for a while?
Lohnes said that this whole thing started because they kept trying to hire Thomas to tune Tasca's car. So they all left as a team.I would imagine that they each tune a car.

That's not what I heard Lohnes say. I heard him say 'teams' kept trying to hire Thomas... he didn't specifically say Tasca. At least I didn't hear it.
 
my money is on tasca with 2-car team; bob and austin, with father and son both CC's.
we could see another brother/brother duo, the same as the johnson's were.
The Brian Lohnes podcast this week was good. He thinks they can’t get two cars done on time to start the season and they will start with one car. His guest from Nat Dragster thinks they can. And for some reason tractors and trailers are in short supply.

this is definitely a crutial time for JFR, in much the same manner we watched the evolution of DSR.
2 years before Don Shu passed , many announcements were made about how Don's stepdaughter Megan was going to take over the DSR management and keep the race teams . This was after the Chandler's were out. She was always at the races and very involved, I always wondered what changed the plans so drastically, because Don's health problems started years before.

I always wondered that too,she just kinda left and never saw her again. Guess tony didnt have any interest in running the teams
 
Josh is correct, if I'm not mistaken the Drag racing parts they make are only about 25% of what they do. They have massive capabilities.

If Tommy Johnson got the call to be the driver of a JFR funny car, he'd forget about that IHRA announcer gig so fast your head would spin.
I might fight you about that; the pressure cooker of driving a nitro funny car is only superseded by that turning into a Ruth Chris broiler at a moment's notice. TJ got out fairly unscathed and to have a successful career while still involved in the sport- especially when the "I" MAY take off in the next 12-18 months- might be a damn good reason not to strap in as a full-time gunslinger for hire.
 
Based on all the most recent public, social media info as of today 11/24/2025
I now believe the Procks ARE going to Tasca, but I am skeptical about the 2nd car scenario.
The amount of money required to complete this deal leads me to believe that Bob Tasca will vacate the seat and assume a Don Schumacher type role
of team owner that has a car, driver, tuners that will win a world championship. He will release Todd Okuhara and Aaron Brooks.
The Procks and their families can remain in Brownsburg, IN and also bring every other crew member they had at JFR Brownsburg shop with them. (less than 1 mile away)
FYI Tasca's shop address is 481 Southpoint Circle Brownsburg, IN 46112
Force's shop address is 498 Southpoint Circle Brownsburg, IN 46112
The distance between the 2 shops is only .2 miles ! (1,056 feet) 😃

BT3 bought Morgan Lucas Racing's building a couple of years ago. Which was also the home of Lucas fabrication. It it literally next door to JFR.
JFR is the building just north. And part of it is rented out to other businesses, including Steve Torrence Racing.

Edit: I have no inside information, I'm just reading the tea leaves like everyone else. I don't know where the Procks will land, just pointing out that IF it is Tasca, the morning commute won't change much.
