All Three Procks leaving JFR (3 Viewers)

Idea:
Why don’t NHRA fans start an internet “Prock Watch” and start a surveillance of Tasca’s shop in Brownsburg, IN and Kalitta’s shop in Ypsilanti, MI to see if the Procks visit either shop between now and January 2026.
Working together we can solve this mystery 😀
" I don't know if they've visited or if they're showing dirty movies in there with all the trenchcoats and fake mustached people going in and outta there..."

The rumor def makes much more sense that it would be Tasca. Force ran the Tasca name on the front of his car for many many years, I just don’t see any previous ties to Kalitta like it mentions
The rumor mill seems to be leaning towards the Procks going to Tasca.
I still have doubts:
1. I can’t see Ford Motor Company returning to sponsor a Funny Car given the state of the U.S. economy and the state of the auto industry and all the recalls of Ford vehicles.
2. I can’t see Bob Tasca forming a 2nd FC team to be tuned by Jimmy & Thomas Prock and driven by Austin Prock and not by Bob Tasca.
3. I believe Tasca wants to be the driver of a FC that can win a championship, not the owner of the winning car from by Austin Prock.
4. I will believe it when Tasca formally announces in January 2026 that the Procks have joined is Racing Operations.
5. Until then, I still believe the Procks going to Kalitta either as a 2nd car or replacing Todd & Venables makes more economic business sense.
6. Think about it: the budget to run a nitro FC is $3 to $4 million per year.
7. Jimmy Prock’s salary is at least $1 million per year (25% to 33% of the total budget)
8. How in the world is Bob Tasca going to pay Jimmy Prock and his sons $2 million (50% of the total 2nd car budget) while Tasca keeps driving the other car tuned by Okuhara & Brooks that doesn’t perform up to Tasca’s expectations ? 😂
9. For that matter, why would Connie Kalitta pay the Procks $2 million of the total budget and keep paying Todd & Venables in the other car that performed probably below expectations in 2025 ?

All valid points, but where is the Kalitta connection to Force that has been stated. And anyone who thinks Tasca doesn’t have the money to add several cars if he wanted doesn’t realize how much the Tasca family is worth. My guess is Jimmy will tune one car, and Thomas will tune the other with possibly Brooks and Okuhara as co-crew chiefs. Shared data, shared tune ups, etc. Tasca wants a championship bad, and has the money to make it happen. People also seem to forget Tasca has multiple dealerships and that has been his in with Ford, Motorcraft, PPG, etc. Everyone said Ford would never come back when they left Force but they spent the money to develop the new Mustang funny car body for Tasca to begin with before anyone else got the bodies. I may be wrong, but I feel like it’s gonna be Tasca

Yes they do, but Tasca has been synonymous with Ford since the early days. Look at pics of the Force Mustangs, you will see a Tasca logo around the grill on most of them, it was even in the grill on the earlier Mustangs
no doubt they bleed Ford blue but my point deals more with their ability fund a 2nd team. Obviously they desire a big sponsor to tag along.

So JFR goes from Austin, Jack and Brittany to Jack, Josh and Alexis. Definitely not a step up in talent for JFR. Sad.

The jFR press release says they will be running four teams in 2026!

What are the four race teams at JFR for 2026 ?
1. TF Monster Energy - Josh Hart driver David Grubnic crew chief
2. FC Peak Camaro - Jack Beckman driver Dan Hood crew chief
3. FC Prock's former car - ? driver ? tuner
4. ??

#4 should be Alexis and Mike Neff

They are going to Tasca. I never spoken to Bob but he comes across hard headed. I wonder what parts they are going to use ? AJE ? or DSR ?
Based on all the most recent public, social media info as of today 11/24/2025
I now believe the Procks ARE going to Tasca, but I am skeptical about the 2nd car scenario.
The amount of money required to complete this deal leads me to believe that Bob Tasca will vacate the seat and assume a Don Schumacher type role
of team owner that has a car, driver, tuners that will win a world championship. He will release Todd Okuhara and Aaron Brooks.
The Procks and their families can remain in Brownsburg, IN and also bring every other crew member they had at JFR Brownsburg shop with them. (less than 1 mile away)

I think a lot of us thought Cornwell was aligned with the Procks. They just stated they are signed to JFR on FB:
With John Force Racing’s announcement today regarding the Prock family’s departure from the team, we want to provide clarity on Cornwell’s position as we move toward the 2026 NHRA season.

First and foremost, Cornwell Quality Tools remains fully committed to our partnership with John Force Racing. JFR has been a cornerstone partner for our brand—strong, stable, and deeply aligned with the values and pride that define Cornwell. Their professionalism and long-standing legacy in the sport continue to be a powerful platform for our dealers and our brand.

We are grateful for everything achieved with Austin Prock and the Prock family over the past two seasons. Back-to-back championships are rare in any sport, and we are proud of the moments we created together during that run. As they begin their next chapter, we wish the Prock family nothing but continued success.

Looking ahead, our alignment with JFR remains unwavering. The team’s dedication to the 2026 season—fielding four race teams and continuing their commitment to American-made performance—mirrors the strength and determination we see across our Cornwell Tools dealer network.

We are excited to support JFR as they enter another milestone year in the NHRA and as they prepare to announce additional partnerships in the coming weeks. Together, our focus is clear: continue building momentum, elevate our presence in the industry, and chase another championship in 2026.

If the Prock Family does go to Tasca, I wonder if their is a partial ownership involved. I have no insight, just sitting here pondering.
That's a good question.
Also what if Tasca, Prock and Cornwell Tools have worked out a sponsonship deal given 2 consecutive FC World Championships ?

The "who is JFR's 4th driver" question is a new thing to bat around aside from "where are the Procks going?" Josh, Beckman and Alexis seem set, leaving what I assume is a 3rd funny car seat open. The thinking has always been that Jordan Vandergriff is in line for a seat. Anybody else come to mind?
