I decided that since AJR is not one of those teams to sell used parts (they've never had a merchandise trailer), I would buy a connecting rod from AJPE and have the drivers, crew chiefs, and Alan sign it (if I can get their attention). It was a pleasure dealing with the guys at AJPE. Good guys all around. And you get a good deal at the track from the teams that sell used parts. $168 new vs. about $30 used. The teams most likely make more money selling used parts than selling to a scrap dealer.
