I met Freddy once WOW. Days later he went to a guy's shop that ran a 409 impala at Lions that had some parts for sale. Freddy picked out a 2-4 barrel set up an a 4 speed transmission, he said I will take these. The owner said OK that will be $$$$ Freddy said No "I WII TAKE THESE" as he pulled his gun, Sale complete.There was a racer or two that were rumored to have some affiliation.

It was Alan...A few years ago someone on Mater suggested reading the book "Murder Machine". I purchased it (Amazon) and read it. Loved the story. Freddie was a member of the branch of Mafia that it was about. One of my all time favorite books.
