Pretty neat. Johnny seemed fairly knowledgeable about the sport.

John was into motorsports. He took the 1st gen STP turbine Indy car for a few laps back in the late '60s.

He also loved his Corvettes.

I don't think Johnny ever took her up on him coming out to a race, did he? That would have been neat to see. Of course that was way before drivers started having special sponsorship deals with "celebrity" cameos and appearances in their pits.
