426 Motors in FEDS (1 Viewer)

Dar,

I understand we can use a TFX block and billet heads. Is that correct? I was also told that the good oldddd M&H tires are still required for the TF FEDs.

I'm going to stir the pot just because I'm bored:

What is wrong with using the 426, slightly bigger tires and less mag and pump for NTF?

It's about time we see the the use of the 426 in the Nostalgia Top Fuel cars. No part of this is cheap but I've been brainwashed into the belief that the late model hemi is a bit stronger and in the end a bit cheaper to run (More parts available than the 392 style). Hope that leads to some of the folks coming back that have hung up their hydrometers in the last few years.

We will be building our car starting in Feb and the motor venue will definatly help our cost. Finding a good tune will be interesting since there will be very few cars with the 26 next year.
