Del may want some time at home. He's been either driving or tuning or both for the last 30 years and the travel can wear you down. I wish him the best
I'd say they are winning even more in those situations.

Parking Tony makes no sense if their adding Alexis. Also watched a video with Ida and she said as of right now she will be running a partial schedule until they find more sponsorship.

they're adding alexis cuz she's got the dough. you gonna' pay a hired driver, plus run a car out of your own pocket, just to say you have a 2 car team?
i'll go to a national event with you too, if you buy my travel and ticket to the race, and beers ..... cold beers.

I'm puzzled by this move. What is Dejoria gaining here? This news item makes it sound like Dejoria was previously more or less just a hired driver for "DC Motorsports", whoever that is. Of course, she brought all of the funding for that operation as well. But I thought that was her operation, and her team, and she hired Del as CC. No doubt Del brought crew members that he knew as well. And now they make it seem like she is just a buy-a-ride driver for JCM. Maybe that is the case? JCM runs the team and she just writes checks and drives? Nothing wrong with that of course, just curious why the change from her previous deal. And since it sounds like the Tony Schumacher team is parked (do I have that right?), we're not gaining any new teams in the fuel ranks, we're actually losing one.

It will be interesting to find out who ends being hired as Crew Chief to replace Del. A younger guy who many of us have not heard of? Or an older established guy. Anyone sitting on the sidelines who is known to want back in to the Big Show?

Nope, according to Alexis in an interview DC stands for DeJoria Charles Motorsports. Charles is Del’s middle name.

Losing Scag was a huge hit to the wallet. Joe spent his own money so Tony could run this prior year. And Tony posted on Facebook that they are looking for a full-time sponsor. I hope they can find one because short fields suck.

When Del was her crew chief last year it was Del and Connie Motorsports. In 2025 with JCM it's also DC, Dejoria Charles.

I bet a case of cold ones that she owns her whole operation. From what I have read about it, Del wanted out and she needed to hook up with an established operation. with the people logistics and in house ability to run and manage her operation. Maybe she will also be able to assist in securing some funding for Tony's car?
