Wilkerson's crash

Wilk needs to remedy this problem and NOW, or get out of the sport. Sorry Tim. Luv ya, but this has to quit happening.
Wow. Guy has 2 bad passes and you want to kick him out of the sport? If that was the rule we wouldn't have any cars out there.
He's had the car back to the chassis shop, the rear end back to the manufacturer, and he gone over the whole car. Lots of smart guys have looked at the car.
Maybe you ought to run over there and show him what's wrong.

Another chassis builder? Another stellar post. So now Murf can't build a good FC chassis? Guys obviously Tim has a problem but some of these posts are incredibly overreactive.

"Get out of the sport?" "Get another chassis builder?" I thought I would see if anybody knew what happened to Tim but this board never disappoints with members whose heads are so far up their asses it's amazing.

Yea really. He is good for the sport,he we get it figured out. Some people are def a bit harsh geeez

. I wonder if perhaps a differential issue is the culprit??[/QUOTE]
The rear end of a fuel car is not a differential. Extremely strong shaft drives both wheels. Losing drive to right wheel twice would be a huge coincidence. There should be evidence of what caused hard right turns.

New crew shirt for Wilk.

Really Tim should get out? lol
Anyone remember back in the mid70s when one year Dick LaHaie couldn't go down the track without crashing? Is wife at the time said after his last wreck, the car goes or I go. Well we all know how his career went after that.
Tim will get it figured out.

As Rick Farcas mentioned about 10 posts ago, it was a fuel line issue. Wilk was in the booth during the first round of Funny Car and he said he's very confident they figured out the problem and it won't happen again. He said Jimmy Prock and a couple other teams came over and discussed some of their experiences and that's when they figured out what the problem was.
