Yep, that's about as far fetched as Del leaving his dad....oops.

Dad1: A hands-on leader/tuner of a one-then-two-then-one car team, struggling for the last couple of years to keep the team going, just lost their major sponsor, looking lately like this whole thing has lost all the fun, with a son having a hard time qualifying from one event to the next...

Dad2: A major business owner with several successful enterprises, including a huge ~10 car/bike operation at the top of the NHRA pile, with sponsors galore, a couple of cars well into the hunt for their respective championships, including a son who is as much a lock for the title as anyone has been in the last decade.

One son walked away (reluctantly, no doubt) at or near the bottom, the other would be walking away at the top... Not impossible, but the situations are so different as to be almost incomparable.

Were the Worshams even planning on running next year with the CSK tap all dried up?

My other vote goes to another young man who everyone likes and we don't see near enough !
T.J Zizzo
Lets see we need to pair him up with a good sponsor to go with a name like that.
Ok Mater think tank time !
Everyone loves a challenge.

Del is Driving for Al Aribi racing Chuck has plenty of work to catch up on at home.
The rest of the crew are free to post resumes.
What 13 or 14 years , that's a good stretch.
O Riley bought out CSK .

Haha.

Seriously though, I think that IMO AJ would want to put someone that's already been established and not a rookie.

i don't know. my .02 guess earlier in this thread was that a foreign driver
would be named - i'm still going to stick to that guess.
AJ's got a chance here to groom a driver to his liking (i.e. force/hight)
