I haven't heard anything about the politics room in a while (2 or 3 years) but my understanding is that it basically lead to nothing but a bunch of hard feelings and people leaving the site over nonsense that has nothing to do with drag racing. I don't get it I guess ...

the key to the politics room for me is to remember to take each post with a grain of salt.....people are gonna have different opinions, you just have to respect that no matter how wrong they are .....the only time i ever got steamed related to that room was when one of the board members sent me a very discourteous PM and then got ever more mad at me because I had the "stones to write back" to them.

Hawaii vacation was scheduled to begin Dec 18th. Afganistan trip was a closely guarded secret. Unfortunately, Prez's meeting with Karzai was canceled due to "Bad Weather" -
