Where is Shawn Cowie?

I hope he is not stuck in Canada for whatever reason. Expected him to be at Pomona, but nothing yet, Any news?

He posted that his parents were dealing with some health issues and staying home to tend to that. For the family.

Hoping things are better for the Cowie family. He has entered the Vegas race.

I really hope he wins the T/AD championship. I always remember what he went thru some years back with the motorcycle accident.

Man. I'm with you on that one Cliff ! I've been rooting for him for years now. He has come sooo close several times now. But unless NHRA does something to give the blown alcohol cars some parity with the A/Fuel cars, it's going to be difficult for him.

I talked to Shawn today. His parents are still dealing with health issues but he wanted to get out and race. At this point in time he probably won’t be back out until Vegas2 and Pomona.

That's too bad. We always look forward to seeing him in Seattle (very close to his home). But when it comes to family, you have to do what you have to do. Hopefully things will improve for him. He's always a class act.
