Chris, first I have heard the term used thou package. Fill me in I'm a little inept Lol.

Sportsman racers (particularly in the Super categories) add their reaction time to their ET, then subtract the index and the closer you can get to zero the better your "package" is. For instance, a .010 reaction time with a 8.905 ET (on a 8.900 index) would be .015, referred to in the slang of our sport as a 15 thou package. It is a way to numerically express how good or bad your run was in a more complete way than just ET.

Since both the Truck and Nationwide races at Daytona were incredibly close after many miles of racing, their margins of victory in the thousandths of second, it naturally reminded me of drag racing, where such tight margins of victory are quite common. So I made a joke that they had tight "package".

Was all drag racing for me. Congrats Alexis. She was the car to beat all day and is only going to get better. Look out funny car. Antron & AJ, no surprises there. There's a reason they're former champs.

A great sports day for me as Canada won the Men's Hockey gold medal early Sunday morning. Alexis' win was a close second. I love her enthusiasm.
