Hey Bobbi another idea for this contest is to have it as a video. Sometimes the art of the story is in the telling. Anyway can't wait to read what they come with up with this year

Luckily when my dad worked for Beadle from 1980-1986 I was able to catch quite a few of Fred's tall tales. I'll never forget there was about 20 of us that went to Dave and Busters by the shop in Dallas and Fred got off onto one of his stories which involved D Gantt who was sitting by Fred while he was telling this story. All I know is he had everybody at that table in tears from laughing so damn hard and there sat D basically eating his food and looked up and said "yeah that's how it happened."
