J.R. is due for his second championship. Being on the Kalitta team you would think he would have won more than one in 7 years in F.C. I love his passion and determination, good things are coming. And he's still young.
J.R. , like many other nitro pilots are pretty much at the sole mercy of their respective crew chiefs. Put any one of the current nitro drivers in that Prock car and it still wins the championship!

Not to take anything away from Jimmy Prock. He is a great crew chief, but It takes more than just a great crew chief. You got to have a very good crew putting it back together every time. Plus a great driver that is consistent in how he does the burnouts, staging and everything else. From my view point he has done that very well !!

It certainly takes the entire team to perform at that level.

Everybody saw the writing on the wall in Tony's top end interviews. He was not happy going down the last stretch of the season with his teams performance. I'm surprised anybody is still there.
I agree, Tony was unhappy with his 9 th place finish in the points. But Hagan was fourth in FC. With Austin's phenomenal season and John's car doing almost as well ,4th ain't bad. And I know, 4th place is not acceptable for Tony, but believing that replacing Dickie is going to make things better seems like wishful thinking.

I agree Barry. This seemed like a knee jerk reaction to what really was a decent finish for Hagen in FC, everything considered. I think it was a mistake, unless Dickie left on his own. But the media reports pointed to this as solely a T-S discission.
