Top alky dragsters (1 Viewer)

Mark
There were 4 in Seattle, 1 was world champion Shawn Cowie. they were running in the teens. the class winner was Severance. the blown cars, there are less and less of them these days, but they are my favorite of the class.
Larry Sutton---🤠
Larry, thanks for info, I thought severance was still blown, good to see him back in the fast mix, iI remember back to many years ago I had a t-shirt with a picture of a blown hemi with the words saying ( injection is nice but I would rather be blown), also seen one that reversed the preference, always loved the blower cars in any class😎

I know that Larry is old and senile, so I'm not going to blame him for the miscount......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Blown cars:
Taylor Januik,
Jon Bradford, (EFI and torque converter)
Mike Austin,
Joey Severance,
and Shawn Cowie

Hi alan, my favorite top alky car is the one I painted for Duane shields in 2000, what a great looking blown motor he had, I was hoping more blower would find the teens, makes the class way more fun to watch

I miss watching Marty Thacker race.
Me too, Marty always did fantastic wheels up launches.

I was going to list him but wasn’t sure if he was still racing since he hasn’t appeared at any event this year. Same with Nick Spiegel out of Nebraska. He is a teammate to James Steven’s.
The 2024 U.S. Nationals is the last national event I could find. We won't count them out just yet.
