NHRA gives blown alky dragsters 128%

NHRA's competition comittee has announced that effective immediately the overdrive limit for screw-type supercharged alcohol dragsters will be increased to 2.28 or 128% in yet another effort to achieve parity in the class between the Afuel and Blown alky combinations.

I think I'd better buy some stock in aluminum connecting rod manufacturing companies. I'll bet it's going to be a good year for them.

Until the blown guys run .20's it won't make a difference. I am curious what O'Bannon and Federlin can run though!

kosky went a 5.31 at etown, Gallant ran a 5.27 and a 5.28. No other A/FD ran faster than Kosky. I bet that O'Bannon will be in the mid 20's in good weather.
