Big calling Indy one year. "Bob Glidden just got quicker than electricity" after cutting a near perfect light. Was too funny at the time.

That's great! Lol!

The moment from Big that sticks with me to this day was before the TF final at Indy in '88. Snow ran 5-flat in the semi's heading into the final against Amato. After Big returned from the pits before the final, he said he was just in the pits and Snow told him, "Big, we're gonna run 4.98 in the final....". The place went bananas when he said that.

Obviously he didn't and Amato went back-to-back, but I can remember that even being an Amato fan, I was pretty stoked to see a "4". I may be wrong, but I don't think anybody had run in the 4's yet. I think Hill had done it in IHRA, but I don't think it had been done yet in NHRA.....
