That's right, Teri! My brothers also had the "winning combination"

They will miss Rahn at Kalitta Motorsports.......without a doubt!

Is Kalitta who he worked for?????? Aren't they from Michigan????? Gosh, Terry I got on the wrong thread!!!;)

That's ok, Teri. I see Suzie got a kick out of it also. I heard that someone named Tressel is going to take over Doug's car for the interim--any truth to that rumor? By the way, my son was home for a visit last weekend and he was very impressed with the buckeyes AND the buckeye story. Thanks again!

Well Terry, Tressel would have the right colors!!!!!! I told you those Buckeyes were a conversation piece!!!!:p Any time!!!!

maybe he decided to spend more time with mama out on the road doing the match race stuff she's doing ? good luck to both groups.

If I am not mistaken, Doug was running good before Rahn took over.

That is a good point. But, Rahn brought consistency to the car to the point that, if not for AJ and "The Run," they would have won the title last year. I know that sounds like sour grapes. I do not intend to take anything away from Alan Johnson -- he is, and has been for some time, the man in Top Fuel. But I think Doug had his best moments with Rahn, just as Scott K. had his best moments when Dicko was his crew chief. Fair enough?

WOW... Like is there anyone posting on this thread that really knows ANYTHING about Team Kalitta???????

Okay... now I'm starting to giggle... dang I need this... Thanks Ladies:)

Yea. I heard that a long time ago, Connie ran out of gas in ohio. an instead of paying for gas in ohio he pushed his rig all the way back to Michigan.
(It seems old Woody Hayes had a story like that)must have thought it was pretty good and started using it.

LOL - did you ever hear Larry Morgan's "glider" story?? Connie offered to fly him home quite a few years ago and they damn near starved the motors of fuel on approach. The FBO had to come & tow them off the taxiway because they ran out of fuel as soon as they landed & pulled off the runway.

Hey do I get to be considered in the chicks in the know group?? A certain Tammy O is my babysitter!! Did she brag Teri?

Lisa, I don't know about being a chick in the know, some days I am doing good to know my own name!!! Yes she did rub it in!!!! She used to babysit me & I turned out OK!!!!:p Wish you were coming this weekend.:(

I wish I was coming too!!! Houston fell at a bad time for me...End of the month in the mortgage business is craziness. Maybe next year...I hope!!! I hope babysitting Kylie cheers Ashley up. Let's hope the guys kick butt this weekend!
