I was curious as to what happened to Chris on Sunday. I was listening on all access and apparently the car surged when in reverse causing people behind the car to scramble. I've always worried about an incident like this happening. Thanks

Reverser was stuck, they decided to kill it, the RPM went up when it leaned out.

I wonder who is the oldest racer out there? Any class. There was a fellow who ran Pro Mod, maybe 2 years ago, was 87, got into a crash & decided to hang it up. I know there are lot of sportsmen racers in their 70's & very capable of winning. Like Don Enriquez in JR/F in the heritage series.

I know the guy lifting the body on a F/C is risking his life multiple times a day..............

That's why I never volunteered to lift and lower the body on The Invader NFC I helped with. Instead I pulled the mag wire and got out of the way.
Just a slight touch on the throttle linkage is all it takes for the car to jump several feet.
