(Santa Maria, Calif., March 13, 2007) - A star-studded Episode 4 of the popular behind-the-scenes show "American Dragster" airs Sunday, March 18, on ESPN2.
Featuring U.S. Army Top Fuel dragster pilot Tony Schumacher, Brut Revolution Dodge Funny Car driver Ron Capps and Pro Stock drivers Erica Enders and Max Naylor, Episode 4 includes the following scenes:
--The 2007 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series' season kicks off at Pomona and spectators pack the track. From celebrities to CEOs to the everyday family, people from all walks of life call themselves fans. Discover why professional drag racing enjoys such a devoted audience and hear from the drivers what it's like working in a sport where fans enjoy unprecedented access.
--During the weekend, Erica Enders encounters some trouble qualifying for the first event with her new sponsor. And after a tough 2006 season, Max Naylor comes out swinging, finally qualifying for the race.
--A sudden change in the weather throws everyone off as temperatures drop and last-minute adjustments are made. Tony Schumacher and the Army team try to recapture the power of last year's season-ender, while the Brut crew and driver Ron Capps scramble to get the car ready to race.
--There to witness it all are the fans, including "Terminator 2" actor Robert Patrick and RATT front-man Stephen Pearcy and "Van Halen" rocker Michael Anthony who all come out to support their favorite teams.
